From Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th February, the company will attend the most important international trade fair in the fruit and vegetable sector.Ser.mac, the Italian company specialised in the production of fruit and vegetable sorting lines for over 30 years, continues its process of international presence and growth. In fact, from Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th February, the team will be present at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, the most important international trade fair in the fruit and vegetable sector, with a large exhibition space of 153 sq. m at Stand A30 – Hall 4.1, where Ser.mac will bring interesting innovations for the automation of fruit and vegetable processing.
New solutions for the fruit and vegetable sector at stand A30 – Hall 4.1.“Fruit Logistica remains the main point of reference for operators in the fruit and vegetable sector. At this edition, we will present the latest solutions that identify Ser.mac as an ideal partner in the domestic and international markets, thanks to the technologies and innovations on offer. Among the news we will be bringing to the Berlin fair: the patented Spider solution and the Ca.Ro 80 plant with HDiA equipped with Internal & External Quality, snewcal 6 & consoleQ touch screen”, says the new Commercial Director of the Ser.mac Group Glauco M. Moschini.
Spider, the multi-fruit sorting machine designed to analyse elongated fruit. The Spider is the very latest innovation introduced to the market: this sorting machine patented by Ser.mac is ideal both for grading round fruit and for elongated varieties such as the Abate Pear, allowing an extremely high level of quality for the different types of fruit to be obtained with a single machine, thus ensuring considerable savings in terms of space, work and costs. “The Spider has already been chosen by important companies in the sector, such as Orogel, Conagri Fruit and Coferasta: a feedback that proves the innovation of Ser.mac solutions, the result of constant research and the desire to project companies into the era of Agriculture 4.0”, Moschini continues.
The Ca.Ro 40 plant in citrus fruit production.
Not only Spider and Ca.Ro 80, other technologies include the fruit and vegetable machine Ca.Ro. 40, which ensures optimal rotation of each individual fruit to allow the vision system to perform a 360-degree analysis. In addition, “thanks to the application of HDiA artificial intelligence” – Moschini adds – “it is possible to further increase the efficiency and quality of production while achieving immediate savings”. The Ca.Ro. 40 is one of the most popular solutions in the market, both domestic and international: in addition to the latest installations in Latin America, the Apulian factory of Agricola Don Camillo and the Calabrian branch of the Mazzoni Group have in fact chosen to include Ca.Ro. 40 multi-channel systems for the citrus fruit processing line, with the aim of preserving the quality at all stages of the industrial process.
The HDiA artificial intelligence.
Ser.mac sorting machines are capable of sorting fruit and vegetables by analysing all quality parameters, thanks to HDiA artificial intelligence, which enables fruit and vegetables to be classified according to internal and external characteristics, colour, weight and diameter. AI ensures greater efficiency and a qualitatively better result, reducing waste and optimising costs.
